started travelling with his camera
and diary in the year 1985.
He started to travel,
because of the love
of nature, mountains and
peoples.

Grabler travels in a completely
individual way: He doesn't like
group travels nor tourist routes -
he doesn't shy away from strains
and searches the adventure.
Grabler "drifts" through
the country,

he searches the contact
and the dialogue
with people
. . . in the towns
and villages, on the mountains,
in the jungle and the desert –

and he stays,
where he likes it.

Grablers warm open kind
of going toward humans
can be seen above all
in his expressive
portrait-pictures
of the people living
in the countries he travelled to.
Despite all the High-Tech
at his slide-shows
there's enough place for
the human components.
Like on his journeys
he tries to get in contact
with the guests,
searches the dialogue
and readily talks about
his experiences.
