In the immediate surroundings of our house you should visit the hill
Gmundnerberg
   with his long crest, the beautiful view  and
the well run catering trade in an exposed position.

From us - that means
from your holiday apartment
it takes you just
a short time
to get by car or on foot
up to this mountain.
 		    
 
So you can enjoy
in just
5 minutes by car
 daily in the morning,
meanwhile or in the evening

 
   
the
dreamlike beautiful view
of the lake Traunsee
and the massive mountains
surrounded.

The lake Traunsee - and some other lakes in the surroundings -
are especially suitable for all kinds of Water sports
like sailing, surfing, water ski, motorboats, rowing, canoeing,
fishing, swimming, diving, etc.

In the immediate surroundings
invite also the other Traunsee-municipalities
Gmunden, Altmünster, Traunkirchen
and Ebensee to a visit.
 
 
Worth seeing and also near
 are the following regions:
Ausseerland, Inn-,
Mühl- and Hausruckviertel

Really worthwhile is a roundtrip to the lakes of the Salzkammergut -

From the lake Traunsee
to the lakes Attersee,
Mondsee, Wolfgangsee -
and/ or to the lakes Hallstättersee,
Altausseer See and Grundlsee.
 

The following towns
are also easy to reach:
Salzburg, Linz, Vienna,
Wels, Steyr, Vöcklabruck,
Bad Ischl, St. Wolfgang
 
 
as well as the "cultural heritage"
 Hallstatt,
a historical salt-works market.

You'll find hundreds of possibilities for hiking and family friendly paths
as well as well run mountain and alpine pasture hut:

From the plains
of the Upper-Austrian centre
to the gentle, partly wooded hills
of the foothills of the Alps,
