via the Echerntal
the hut Tiergartenhütte (1468 m)
and the hut Wiesberghaus (1872 m)If you start in Obertraun
take the
Krippenstein-cable car
– both routes lead to the hut
Simony-Hütte (2205 m)From this hut are
just 200 high metres left. . .. . .
before you reach (after about 3 km of paths)

be seen as easy if you keep the
precautionary measuresBy the way, this point
can be reached
easier and quicker from
the Styrian side . . .. . . driving up the toll-road
to the Dachstein-cable car
and drive with it up to the
Hunerkogel (2700 m)
and be therefore directly
in the glacier area
Walk from the Hunerkogel
over the glacier to the
beginning of the summit

is really worthwhile
- staying power, slip resistance,

the Dachstein-summit there are
many crossings in the Dachstein area,
which make great demands
