The rest of the castle ruin Scharnstein

There are two possibilities
for reaching the ruin:
you can take the stairs on the right side
- pass a little chapell,
built in the rock –
and walk the last metres on the
road to the castle . . .

The chapell built in the rock

. . . or you go along the
forest road: you'll reach
your destination after 45 minutes
– also recommended: use one way
to go there and the other to go back

Along wonderful paths we reach the ruin

The ruin was restored
during the last few years,
it's a wonderful
point of view
and – especially for kids –
a great playground,
but they shouldn't be let
out of sight
