You've the possibility
Kasberg
directly in about 4 hours
from different starting points
in the valley

Starting points are
the centre of the village Grünau,
the barrier at the beginning
of the road Hochberg
or the game park Grünau

We want to make you the following sugestion
Drive by car from the House Grabler, Altmünster, in approx. 45 minutes to Grünau im Almtal.
 
In the middle of the village Grünau the road divides and leads into two different valleys -
follow the left road towards Schindlbach

Take after 3 km the about 5 km
long mountain road on the right side
up to the inn
Hochberghaus

Inn Hochberghaus on the Kasberg

It takes about an hour
to walk from there up
the Farrenau
to the serviced mountain hut
Sepp-Huber-Hütte (1500 m).

After another hour of
unhurried walking

inconspicuous small summit
with a great view,
of the foothills of the
Kasberg-massif towards
the valley Almtal

Drive past the road to the Hochberghaus and drive on
still further 4 km to the end of the valley
 
There you'll find the „Kinderland Schindlbach“ a comfortable service area
with much entertainment for little and big guests
