Liabstatt-sunday: first sunday in Spring in Gmunden - it's fair spirit; everyone sells, buys and gives away gingerbread hearts. And it's the day, when the youn man the first time goes out with the woman he wants to marry.
Maypole: An old custom for fruitfulness. The Maypoles are put up on April, 30th, mostly in front of an inn by groups of young men. After that the men get to drink and eat and have to watch the pole the whole night, because otherwise he could be stolen by rival groups.
Florianifeier: sunday after the 4th of May - celebration for the holy Florian
Narzissenfest: narcissus celebration in Aussee, mostly the last weekend in May.
Midsummer fire: 21. June - the midsummer fire should burn all negative and is the holy symbol for renewal and purification. So called Sonnwendbuschn (flowers and crops) were nailed on the timber set, to protect against thunderbolts and tempests. There are 9 different flowers inside, which have to be collected on Johannisday.
